Our History
The Bridge Stop is a chain of three family-owned convenience stores in Chippewa Valley. Our original store, still alive and well in New Auburn, was built by Lowell Trowbridge in 1989. He operated it in partnership with his wife, Susan. This gas station and convenience store is a trusted local business and became the model for our second location, which opened in Wheeler, Wisconsin in 2006. Good companies with good values tend to thrive and grow. Ours now includes three convenience stores; one in New Auburn, one in Wheeler, and one in Cameron.

Our Values
Bridge Stop is anything but a faceless franchise. We’re about friendly service in a small-business atmosphere. Each of our locations has the feel of a good, old-fashioned neighborhood gas station and convenience store—because it is. When you swing by for a warm cup of coffee, you’ll get a warm welcome, too. When you’re hungry for some late-night snack foods, we’ve got plenty of salty and sweet treats. When you need to gas up the car after a late night at work, you can do it hassle-free at the pump.

Now operated by Lowell’s son Dwain Trowbridge, Bridge Stop convenience stores are places where you’ll always get a great value for your dollar and know your business is appreciated.

It’s our goal to be the convenience store and gas station you’re confident you can count on. We are always happy to hear from our customers. Whether your experience was beyond expectation or fell short of perfect, your feedback will help us to provide the best possible service to our most valuable asset: our customers. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4p.m., and we are closed on the weekends. Please note that these hours are shorter than our location hours. And remember that we offer 24/7 pay-at-the-pump service at all our gas stations.  For further contact information, please see below.
